Part of the game with Saki, as with all the magical girls from the Puella Magi universe, is that yes, she's a magical girl and can thus do nifty things.

Hers fall into three categories:

1. Lightning-based magic. In her magical girl form, she has a whip/riding crop and can send electricity through it, and she can also summon a pair of giant electric yo-yos and whip those around. Is this okay?

2.Saki's powers also let her speed up and slow down time if a friend is in mortal danger. She also looks pretty when she does. Is it all right to do this, and if so, what situations are okay to do this in?

The last one contains spoilers for Puella Magi Kazumi Magica, so please highlight to read. It's especially relevant for characters who have a magic item they use to transform or heighten their powers. If you have a question about it, please poke me! The comments to this post are just fine.

3. A major difference between the Kazumi universe and the Madoka universe: the Kazumi girls 'reject' the magical girl system by separating magical girls from their Soul Gems and keeping them in a kind of stasis until they can find a way to stop them from becoming witches or return their souls to their bodies. What this means is that if Saki sees another person using a magical item to transform or to give them more power, she may try to take it, thinking she's protecting them. Is this okay, and under what circumstances?

For Minato: his only 'trinket' is his Evoker, so I don't think she'd go for it.

Nothing has changed of course and he doesn't 'transform', though they're free to wonder what the hell the odd almost witch-like thing he's got inside him going on is. It is worth note it is not quite evil or despair filled like a witch I suppose. Just more on the kinda-not-quite-monster-demonic side.

Maka is able to destroy/nerf magical abilities, even though she's not immune. So contact me to talk if Saki's going to try and use magic on her.

I'm familiar with Soul Eater, though it's been a while since I was caught up on the manga. Either way, I'll be sure to poke you if Saki decides to use magic on Maka - so far she's just kept it to monsters, though.
